It is a good idea to heal your pokémon at the local pok´´mon center under the loving care of Nurse Joy in between battles so your pokémon can stay nice and healthy. ;-) (sings) Clefairy Clefairy Clefairy... (stops singing...) :-D

After you get Pidgeotto restored back to perfect health at the pokémon center by the lovely Nurse Joy, my Meowth say she want to have a go at your Pidgeotto, as she want experience to get to be a Persian one day. The thing is I'm a little bit scared to evolve. Wouldn't i be a whole new me if I were to evolve into a clefable? I am happy with myself the way I am.
