I know there are quite a few people with multiple accounts.
Just look at the high score list for referrals. Don't even tell me they haven't abused the referral program.

Are you kidding me now come on? Why aren't they frozen? Why is it me? I don't have nearly that many accounts.
I have worked very hard to be my very best at neopets and I feel I have come so far in my quest. I messed up by making some accounts to get referral prizes I'll be honest. The amount I made through that was very minor compared to the rest of the points I worked hard to earn. However it was enough to encourage me to continue to make new accounts on the side. I saw other people who clearly had multiple accounts who weren't frozen (and probably still aren't) What harm could it do? Plus it would give me some extra guild members. I had been making new accounts for I'd say probably over two months now. It was beginning to be a daily routine. Almost like a habit. No one told me to stop and I didn't get frozen until just recently. I didn't see anything as being too wrong with it. Others were clearly not having problems doing it so i decided I might as well too. I had no intent of malevolence in doing this whatsoever. Heck, I even tried to give these accounts some
personality too. Just part of my quest to be my best. If you really think it is fair to freeze people who abuse the referral program why don't you start at the top of the list to show others that it is not cool to make multiple accounts. And don't even tell me that the person in 1st on that list there has almost 8000 UNIQUE referrals cuz I really just can't seem to buy that for even a second.
Do a lot of people get frozen from making accounts? Is that why it took over a week for me to get any reply to my email? Why do you suppose people would get the idea that it is not a bad thing to make multiple accounts using the referral program? Is it fun freezing people? Well for one thing just look at the list I just mentioned. When I saw that list I saw it as a sign that there is no punishment for making accounts through the referral program, I clicked on some of the names and they were not frozen and seemed quite wealthy neopians. Plus I've been in shops that link to the same persons gallery on another account. I moved items from my smurfysailor shop to another account to make it a gallery so that everything that I did have in my shop would be under 100000NP plus it looked better that way too.
If you had frozen the one account (and just that one account) that I was about to get a paintbrush on, I would have gotten the message right away to stop making new accounts.
Also, if multiple accounts is such an offense to get frozen over then I think it would be a good idea to clearly state that on the link to us page:

Please, I ask of you to unfreeze me. I can stop making the multiple accounts. I really don't want to stop thinking highly of this website. I have really come to love Neopets. I am not asking for you to be my friend. But if this is about being fair then please unfreeze me or freeze ALL of the offenders.
