What do I mean by "speckled" background?

Well check out this picture of Kim Possible and look at the stone floor tile. Do you notice how it is not all one colour throughout? There is a darker shade of the colour that is speckled in to give the overall look of the picture a very good look to it.




And it is a lot more than floors that are speckled in this show. Next time you watch Kim Possible look for all the things you can find that have been speckled. Look for things such as clouds in the sky, background images, walls, lockers, etc.

The animation in Kim Possible is very well done and has a very pleasing look to it.
